Chiltern & Beaconsfield Cruse
Help for the bereaved in the Chilterns & South Bucks
How You Can Help
There are numerous ways you can help our branch of Cruse:
- Donations
- Gifts in Kind
- Volunteers
Donations
The one-to-one counselling service is free to all and the branch is operated entirely by unpaid volunteers. We need funds to raise awareness of our services, to meet the travel expenses of our volunteers, to keep our library up to date for our counsellors and to assist with office running costs. We would also like to be able to develop our work.
Please help us by making a donation. You can do this by cheque made payable to "Chiltern & Beaconsfield Cruse".

IF YOU ARE A UK TAXPAYER and are willing to allow Cruse to claim gift aid on your donation, please would you complete and return a Declaration form. UK Taxpayer Donation Declaration Form - as a Downloadable PDF File:
Alternatively you can complete our enquiry form or telephone us to request a Declaration by post. |
Gifts in Kind
We welcome gifts or items to raffle and office supplies. If you could help us in this way, please complete our enquiry form or telephone us.
Volunteers
We are entirely dependent on volunteers. Our bereavement volunteers with counselling skills and telephonists must have completed Cruse's own training course, which our Branch runs jointly with High Wycombe Branch periodically. Click here for: details of the next Cruse Bereavement Training Course.
Other opportunities for volunteering include office support and fundraising.
At present, we would particularly welcome help in the following areas:
- Office Support - if you have any time available, especially Wednesday mornings, and you have administrative experience.
- Preparation of grant and funding applications - this requires research and report writing skills.
- Publicity - if you could help transport our publicity/awareness materials to various local venues, we would be pleased to hear from you. These materials will fit in your car.
If you would like to volunteer or obtain more information on how you can
help please complete our enquiry form
or telephone us.
